The radicalization of young people is again on the rise throughout the spectrum &#8211; left, right or religious. Youth work plays an important role, as the radicalization of many young people could be successfully prevented, if youth worker could better differentiate motivations and mechanisms in the process of extremism. Youth workers need to know the different steps, recognize the codes and identify the phases of youth radicalization while happening in order to successfully prevent prevent and protect.<\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-8459204907933912206ydp8e8a89aaMsoNormal\">During our TC for Youth workers we will tackle the following agenda:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Terror comes with many faces<\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Europe\u2019s history of terrorism<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Role of youth workers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Current forms of radicalization, with special focus on Right-Wing Extremism and Islamism<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Religious and racial theories accompanying extremism<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Study visits to learn about successful prevention programs in the Berlin-Brandenburg area<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Skill-set for recognizing tendencies among young people and how to address them<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>22 Participants<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Citizens of <strong>20 European countries<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Age limit: 20-30<\/li>\n<li>Gender balance: Equal number of male and female participants will be invited.<\/li>\n<li>Priority given to participants with fewer opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Be committed to attend the full duration of the course and implement follow up and dissemination activities after the project.<\/li>\n<li>Preferable: ability and willingness to contribute to lead a session or facilitate a group activity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The location and the date for the exchange:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Activity 1<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0\u2013 Training Course, <strong>Bremen<\/strong>,\u00a0<span class=\"fontstyle0\">Germany<\/span>,<strong> 13-23 Nov 2018<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Application<\/strong><\/span>:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/sGF6zz0NQsIX3XQZ2\">https:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/sGF6zz0NQsIX3XQZ2<\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Free<\/strong> participation; Travel reimbursement up to <strong>275\u20ac<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Deadline: <strong>continuous<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This project has been funded with support from the European Commission.
