It\u2019s time to become an active citizen\u2757\ufe0f<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">This Conference is oriented to every AEGEEan who <strong>shows interest in Gender Discrimination<\/strong>. The Conference will focus especially on discrimination in the labour market, but it will also touch upon other <strong>obstacles encountered by women in different areas of life<\/strong>. The female labour participation rate in Spain has almost reached the EU average, although it started from clearly lower levels. Today, there are still reports that confirm that women have more difficulties in finding a job, face more obstacles to be promoted and in general are paid less.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">The aim of this conference is to<strong> raise awareness<\/strong> about different forms of discrimination, especially in the labour market, and reflect on how to tackle it. In this C<strong>onference we intend to offer a wide range of sessions<\/strong> in order to empower young people to take action against the discrimination of women in the labour market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">At the same time, participants will have the opportunity to <strong>meet new people,<\/strong> and discuss how to make AEGEE and their own local more inclusive and equal. Besides, they will have a lot of fun with the social program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">But\u2026 aren\u2019t we visiting Bilbao?
