“Enjoy your Future” – the Italian Project

Thanks for the previous management, AEGEE-Budapest has become richer with another fascinating project.

The Enjoy Your Future project (https://www.facebook.com/enjoyyourfuture/), which is coordinated by the italian association ACMOS located in Turin, calls for the development of an institutionalized system of the European Union. The aim of the project is to involve and commit young people to the project that can influence European policies. The project begins with an analysis, and finishes with strategy, where the result will be published. More information can be found here: EYF – Project summary.

The project consists of 4 phases:

– Online Game, with 100 participants from Hungary. There are 12 responses to be answered by the participants.

– evaluation of the questionnaire in the local level with our members. We create 2-3 strategies for the evaluation.

– a general meeting in Brussels in September 2018, approximately for 10 people. A strategy creation will happen and the final conclusions will be submitted for the an ultimate conclusion, and then the EU institutions

– dissemination of results at local level until the project closure (20th December 2018)

The online game has been running since December 2017 and can be accessed at:

http://enjoyyourfuture.eu/play/ .

During the registration process, you will need to enter your own data, from which statistics will be generated. You log into the game, which is an online questionnaire focussing on the topics of the project. The 12 thematic questions will guide us through the most important topics, which provide important results later.

The kick-off meeting of the project was held in Turin, Italy at the end of November 2017, where project partners gathered for a weekend. ACMOS, the Coordinator of the project, organized the event and accommodated the participants.

I participated on behalf of AEGEE-Budapest, where the other 3 partners were representatives from JEF organizations from Belgium, Paris and Italy. At the three-day meeting we took over what the game was about, discussed some changes and other issues, finally we decided the schedule of the project..

The project is already running, but we welcome enthusiastic helpers who are willing to participate in the promotion of the project, travel, make presentations and report at specific intervals. If you are interested in participating in the project, write a short motivation letter to erasmusproject@aegee-budapest.hu to indicate what you would like to do in the project, how much time do you have and whether you could work in the project by the end of 2018.

The report was written by Bálint Caesar, President of AEGEE-Budapest
